What this site does not do

This site is static. It ships no analytics, no tracking pixel, no advertising network, no session recording and no third-party embed. It sets no cookie of any kind, so there is no cookie banner and nothing to consent to. Fonts are self-hosted, so no font provider receives your IP address.

There is no account, no login and no profile. Nothing on this site follows you to another site, and nothing you do on another site is known here.

The waitlist form

One field: your email address.

It is submitted to Netlify, which hosts this site and stores form submissions on our behalf. We use it for one thing - to write to you once, when there is a place for you. It is not sold, not rented, not passed to an advertising network, and not used to send you anything else.

The legal basis is your consent, given by submitting the form. You can withdraw it at any time by writing to the address above, and we will delete the record. We also delete the whole list once the waitlist closes.

Netlify Inc. acts as our processor for this data. Their own privacy notice is at netlify.com/privacy.

Server log files

Our host records the access data your browser sends with every request: the page requested, the time, the referring page, your browser and operating system, and your IP address. This is ordinary web-server logging. It is used to operate and secure the site, it is not merged with any other source, and it is not used to identify you.

The App Clip

`usejeanie.com` hosts an Apple App Site Association file so that iOS can associate this domain with Jeanie's App Clip. Apple's servers fetch that file. It contains no personal data, and this site is not told when they fetch it.

Where your data is

We are a US company and our host is a US company, so data is processed in the United States. If you are in the EEA or the UK and ask us to delete your data, we will, and the address above is the one to write to.

Your rights

You may ask what personal data we hold about you, where it came from, who has received it and why we are processing it. You may ask us to correct it, and you may ask us to delete it. There is no charge and you do not have to give a reason.

Write to dgil@usejeanie.com. We answer within thirty days.

If you are in the EEA or the UK you also have the right to complain to your national supervisory authority.

Changes

If this policy changes in a way that affects data we already hold, we will write to the people it affects before it takes effect.
